It's a bit boring and a let down now that I know our cars will be at the port for a minimum of 6 days. Such a waste of a week.

This is weird. There's users in the 3 series forum on the Fidelo that left Bremerhaven on the 16th bound for Halifax with the same production week as me... except my M is still at port!

I'm no expert on this but I've heard reports that sometimes the status from the port takes a while to update. probably a pipe-dream for me but maybe something for you to look into...run your vin through the shipping websites perhaps...

Guys, I just checked my phone status. It now says my vehicle is in transit!!!! What boat could I have possible gotten on? Are there other boats besides W&W and K-Line?
I'm contacting my CA tomorrow of course. hmm speculating but it appears there's a NYK-Line ship called the Washington Express that left on 2/20 bound for Charleston ... (http://www.nykeurope.com/attachments...0Schedule1.pdf) really need to just talk to my CA

Arrival at Brunswick, GA VDC 2/28/11. Others might be in the same boat (no pun intended).

I have the VIN now, plugged it into W & W cargo tracking and no results. Is there anywhere else worth trying?
Dealer sent me a screenshot of the entire status update, still at Status 90: Left Regensberg like its been for 2 weeks. Hope it didn't get lost! Last edited by rituald; 02-21-2011 at 12:20 PM.. |

Great news. I started this thread when I was a week 7 before I switched to week 10 and now I get to have a preview of my journey in another three weeks or so. Time to start a new Waiting Room soon.
Good luck!

I called the 800# number (now that I have a VIN) and got "Your vehicle is in transit"
How vague... is this the transit from factory to port or could it be shipping? Rampant speculation welcome |

if it was the "your vehicle is in transit and you have to contact your center for further information" message, it means you're on a boat.

Faust is in port, leaving tomorrow. Today it is 2 weeks since my car left Regensburg. If I'm not on this one I give up on this online tracking/torturing myself.

I'm 'at port waiting for a shipping vessel'. My car finished production on 2/17. If the 800 number still say you car is in transit, your on a boat.

My car is supposed to arrive in Brunswick, GA Monday or Tuesday of next week and I'm really going nuts. The boat is in open water so I can't track it...nothing to do! If I don't have the car by next weekend I'll be very frustrated. I think it is like having to pee... the urge is inversely proportional to the distance to the bathroom... it only gets worse!

At least we have this forum to release some frustration, I think it makes it a bit easier. I haven't told my family/friends/anyone else about my tracking obsession... I don't think I'd get much sympathy complaining that my brand new $80k car is taking forever to get to me lol |

I hit 150 yesterday and got the "in production" with a March 7 completion message this morning, so a few weeks behind you.
