I think he meant subwoofer! Haha bass is what the subwoofer produces for the music.

Yeah, Jamie was telling me about this connector that he bought from someone on the forum. It allowed him to connect from his amp and add a subwoofer for bass. There I finally updated the pod, and it runs a lot smoother now! Chea

My initial impression is very good, though. The car is only slightly firmer than it was with the OEM suspension, but it handles bumps much better and the body roll has been drastically reduced. The car feels great now! It's so composed. It should have come from the factory like this. |

Wes, don't forget that in about a week or so you will need to get a full alignment

Once you change your suspension, it's a requirement. LT told me to get one about a week (or 100mi) after he installed my coils. And when I got the alignment... o man was it off! Thing about it... they are changing your suspension... moving parts around..without a Hunter laser alignment it's impossible to align a car I have a shop near me that has always worked on my cars. They aligned my M last week If you hit pot holes, more chances than not your alignment is off the shop is in Reseda though, so I don't know if you want to come out here Maybe when we have one of our lunches, you can come, drop car off, get lunch, then go pick up. Depending on how bad the alignment is, it'll take anywhere between 20 mins to an hour I'm very sensitive about alignment and I hate driving cars where the alignment is off, it drives me nuts I generally get an alignment if I know I hit a pot hole hard or at least get the alignment check. if it's off, i pay for the alignment. I don't recommend going to a chain tire shop though...

You can throw a straight edge on it and get it pretty close if you want to drive it for awhile to make sure you like all the settings before you have the final alignment done. This is usually what i do if I think i may want to play with the ride height some more or make additional camber adjustments for tire clearance or something. If it seems to drive fine as is you probably dont need to mess with it, and can drive for a few days before alignment. Im sure LT or whoever did the install adjusted it pretty close before they let your car leave.

My car doesn't seem to need it though. And I have done multiple Vegas trips, top speed runs and it doesn't feel off at all... What's an alignment run these days. D |

Honestly if whoever installed your suspension knew what they were doing your car should feel fine on road trips and even high speed. If anything you would notice irregular tire wear if it's a touch off. If you are planning on tracking soon you might consider waiting and hit your tires with a pyrometer if you can borrow one, that way you can decide if you are getting the most out of your settings or need some changes. Might be overkill, hard to find the balance sometimes with a DD that you also use for track.

Yea, thanks. Ill see how these new rears wear ,but the fronts are even. And if I track I'll prob get a set of. Track wheels/tires.
Anyone seen the 328 hommage on the blog page? Maybe this was the all carbon fiber 3 series that RIZ said was coming into port. It even has white CF wheels... D |

Whats $60 to make sure your car's suspension is aligned and driving as designed? (lower but you get what I mean) Quote:
My place charges me and my friends $60. I think his regular rate is $80? Some places charge $100. West End Alignment does $100. Also, there are places that offer "life time" alignment for like $150 or something but I wouldn't go there.. they don't really spend time fine tuning your car. Maybe Jamie and Wes should go together haha. Reseda is a bit of a distance for you guys though +1
