Time for a bit of a picture dump. The cage is now done and the dash and center console installed; roof and front and rear Lexan were installed over the weekend; doors were installed last night (doors are Kevlar reinforced and driver's door is removable with one hand); the door hardware is going on today; and Antigravity battery is going in this week. Trunk is being modified to accommodate rear wing uprights that are being chassis mounted and the mounting structure should be done this week. Then, headlight blanks will go in and I will get the car back so it can go to EAS for next phase...

But the car isn’t put back together? Seems like a RB “without wheels” weight?

This is with all fluids and some fuel (not exactly sure how much but at least 1/4 tank).

Car is together, with wheels and driver’s seat. It is only without front bumper (and splitter) and rear wing. It still even has the Mini Cooper battery, all wiring and modules and AC compressor though front transport windows are off (about 6 lbs).

I would really love to get to sub 2900 but don’t think it’s possible for my build unless I ditch the supercharger (which I won’t do).

Looks very, very nice. Maybe drilled harnesses, tires, and wheels to get the final weight out?

Alex, I did reach out to Slon and he did confirm that he has E90 ones...a part of me worries it's for a non M3 E90...hence why I haven't purchased it, as that would be a very expensive guinea pig experience for me that I would rather see someone else fully confirm.
You ask him for pictures, he never sends any...hence why again I haven't bought it yet.

Not entirely sure Owen, but seeing what Slon did for the E46 rear quarter panels, I'd be very interested to see what he can do for the E90s!

according to real oem, which i have found to be pretty accurate, part number four in this diagram weighs about 16lbs. So if you count on carbon being half the weight plus bonding and paint, you're probably looking at about 14-15lbs of savings for probably $10k in tooling, labor and materials... the weight savings i'm guessing are generous, and the pricing i'm guessing is conservative. probably not worth it unless you have money to burn.
