i was supposed to get coded this weekend, but i got my car back from my dealer on friday for them to repair my xenon (which they still havent done), but somehow, i got the car back with my lci tails working without throwing a code or throwing a quick signal, etc.
i am baffled, but happy... going back in two weeks for the xenon headlight replacement, i hope this fix stays working.

Q: LCI Upgrades for a 2010 E92 eliminate the amber bulbs?
Do the 2011 rear LCI Upgrades for a 2010 E92 eliminate the amber bulbs?
Wish I had the knowledge to create an informational thread for light options! Currently, I changed my amber bulbs out for a set of white 7506's, and while the white is better than the amber, it definitely isn't the bright white you get from an LED. I also updated the side fender turns for the white LEDs, and changed out the Angle Eyes for iBright v3.0. Would like to get some consistency with the color of the lights. Everything seems off, including the Xenon's now.

It'd be impossible to match the LEDs / HID with uniform color temperature. I have a set of OSS headlights and neither 4300K nor 6000K D1S xenon bulbs match the color temperature of the OSS LEDs. I think you'd have to go for 8000-10000K to have a reasonable color match. However, at that color temperature, your light output dimmed so much that it's not worth it. It's almost like putting a blue ricer halogen bulb in your car. I now just run the stock 4300K D1S bulbs and learned to live with the color difference.
