For the cost (..assuming that it will be a $5k option here in the U.S.), I'd go with the Akra unit WITH THE QUICKNESS. I don't think the ///M exhaust is bad by any means though.

Those are the most ridiculous pair of mufflers I've ever seen. All the technology BMW has, they can't make mufflers a little smaller?...or more like HALF the size!!?? Wow

most likely they still use Helmholtz chamber design..like the stock exhaust. this could get rid of the drone in low RPM range.

Doesn't the dinan exhaust elminate drone too? They're not big like this. My god, these better come with built in speakers too lol.

why does it still have it's balls hanging? i would buy it if i were still using my stock exhaust....but i have a full Titanium Akrapovic....i expected more from BMW, im sticking with my mean Akra.

any idea how many the M performance exhaust adds? oh and for that price my dealer will chip my M3 for half the price, chip under warranty and it'll add 30-40hp(they claim with my Akrapovic.

Anyone else think the two sound clips sound different? The newer sound clip sounds a tad higher in pitch than the startup/drive away clip.
