Hello Guys , did couple runs today with my friends in a close road outside the city , had to race a ford mustang 5.0 with full bolt ons and tune and i was ahead more every time i shift a gear , i'm very happy that my M3 is doing well with fully boltons mustangs , at the end of the day i drove the car to see how much topspeed it will reach , it did 324kmh and there's still more but i let go the paddle because things got scary there lol .

I know for a fact that while I was in Germany, people with full bolt ons (NO supercharger) and a tune were hitting 200MPH on a regular basis with their M's. I think it was usually DCD M's though, but not sure. Either way 200MPH is attainable without a supercharger, without a doubt. That is all

I strongly doubt any M3 without supercharger can reach that speed. That's supercar territory. The car has neither the power nor the aerodynamics to do it. A 458 Italia with much more power, much less weight, and much better aerodynamics barely gets over 200mph.

Edit: I just checked. The M3 GTS, which has a bit more power, a bit less weight, lower ride height, and slightly better aerodynamics than the regular M3 has a derestricted top speed of 190 mph (275 km/h). So how did you plain jane M3 beat it??????

Are you serious ?? man the car reached 324 KMH with just a tune / filter / and catless exhaust , talk about 458 italia ?? You should come to Kuwait and check the topspeed of this beast , i hit 339 in my M6 E63 with only exhaust/ rpi scoops and tune , this is normal for M cars , for who doubt this ?? Put a v-box , buckle your sear belt and find a close road then hit the gas as hard as you can , and find out what your beast capable of .

I can't comment on the M6 since I don't know anything about it. But I'm not the only one here who is really skeptical of that top speed claim. Like I said, the GTS has even more power and less weight than a non supercharged m3 with full bolt on mods, and still has a derestricted top speed of only 275 km/h. Many members here with M3 have also recorded top speeds lower than that.

Maybe the speedometer is inaccurate. They often tend to be this way on German cars. That's why top speeds are often measured by VBOX instead.

There's a speedometer error at 80mph. I'm pretty sure even though his speedometer says 200mph (324kph), it's not really going that fast. I don't know what the actual variance in speed is, but you're definitely not moving as fast as your speedometer says at top speed.

How will that verify your speed? Like has been said most sc m3s won't make 200, drag becomes way too high to overcome.
