Any experience with Forgeline Wheels?
I will be ordering my M3 soon and am looking for aftermarket wheels. There are a few that I'm interested in (BBS, OZ, MORR) and I recently saw these on the internet that I actually didn't know about. Here's the link:
http://www.forgeline.com/wheels/md3s.html I really like the M3DS. They are 22-23 lbs per wheel which is pretty good and they look nice as well. Has anyone had any experience with Forgeline? Your input is greatly appreciated. |

Well I do see a lot of SSR wheels at the track too and I wouldn't exactly call that a quality wheel for the street, but if I had to guess, I'd say they are probably pretty good.

The only thing I've ever heard people say about track wheels is, "I'm going to get a cheap set of 18's for the track." Cheap as in inexpensive, I assume, but nobody ever mentions getting a quality set of wheels for the track.

Nonsense, Turner motorsport uses forgeline on their BMW's and they kill people out there on the track, top-of-the-line set up they've got.
I'm thinkin about a set of forgelines for my e92 myself.

Seriously, you are doing 120-150mph next to walls that can kill you, why would you skimp on the parts that are holding the car up? I have seen too many cheap wheels break at the track, my life is worth more than that.

Forgelines are good wheels. I have seen many racers use them. They are a quality wheel like Fikse and CCW.
