Not major but it's annoying....
Only my BMW's have been this bad....
I wash my car regularly and like to try and keep it clean. After I wash it I can't put the windows down or they get wet and dry dirty. Even two days later!! I wash it, hit a drive-through the next day on my way to work and have a dirty drivers window all day. |

I always keep a rag or 2 (100% cotton) on the floor behind my seat or in the trunk along with some detailing spray for bird droppings. Just wipe the window down when you get wherever you're going... takes 5 seconds.

I know they moved the switches from the center console to the armrest which is great, but why they didn't add a window lock beats me. Does the E90 have one? Keep in mind you're in warm and sunny LA so it should dry. Right now because it is so cold here I could roll my window down a day later and it will still be wet |

That is annoying as heck. I would also just keep a microfiber in the car and wipe it right off.

That is annoying. But remember that you live in Alberta where it's still cold and it may be that the window seals aren't drying as quickly as the rest of the car is.

If you have access to an air compressor, I recommend the following.
Take your air compressor and use a blow gun with a fine rubber tip. Run the blow gun tip back and forth horizontally at the window seals and this will help expel some of the water build up. Also using a plastic automotive trim removal tool with a MF wrapped around the tip you can wedge it between the glass and seal and this will help to dry as well. Dave @ Innovative Detailing |

Thanks for all the ideas and tips guys. Yeah, with the weather here it's taking 2 days before it dries and by that time it's almost ready for another wash.
I've just been pulling over after a drive-through or whatever and wiping it off while it's still wet from putting it down. Annoying but probably the easiest way. |

same problem here with my E93. Its damn annoying. sometimes it even gets dirty on the inside glass. streaks from the way the glass goes down! must be condensation on the inside.

when hand washing in the summer I usually lower and raise the windows 3-4 times (drying it each time it comes up) at the end of drying the entire car....this takes care of most of the water...
the other annoying part I find is the sideview mirrors dripping water several hours after washing the car... I think this summer im going to try going over the car with a leaf blower to flush out the last few drops. Had these issues for the last 3 years in my E90 330i as well |

Same problem here, even in a silly dry climate. Doesn't last for two days but it does last for at least one full day. My E46 glass would dry within a few hours and never got wet on the inside. Seems like a poor design on our cars.
