Help with Recaro RS-G

Hey guys,

I purchased a Recaro RS-G seat and it should arrive within the the next two months.

I was wondering what exact accessories I would need in order to get it installed. I prefer to have them fixed if that's possible. Any other info on getting these installed is greatly appreciated!

you should also buy the japanese recaro accessories as well as those fit the best with this seat. Recaro japan sells integrated sliders and floor mount for our car with part number 2014.025.1 and 2014.025.2 as shown here

and TS-G/RS-G specific side mounts with part number 1700001J as shown here

[M3 Number 86]

you will need floor mounts - get from VAC.
you will need L brackets - can get from VAC (for your oem seatbelts)
you will need side mounts - can get Recaro (if you are short, these mounts will put the seat TOO low for you, won't be able to see above steering wheel lol), I have universal Sparco, lots of adjustability
you will need spacers - your seat may be off center so get some seat spacers

Ok...hold up..dood...M3 Number 86 ur vid's on YT are insane !!

F*^# your a great driver in terms of sheer gut skill and 'attack' mode .....what mods have you done, and dang....the S65 and E90/E92 chassis really ARE track cars....said former BMW executive in press meeting some time ago..

lol thanks I'm the slow one out of my group but the most stylish! Ha

My mods list isn't that long actually:

"Performance mods"
No name full exhaust (no cats)
Kw clubsports

Everything else for weight reduction and safety:
Cf sunroof panel
Omp steering wheel
Racing seats
No rear seats
No carpet
Welded half cage

If you can fork over the money try going with brey Krause direct to floor mounts or oem slider mounts. I plan to get the oem slider mounts because having racing seats with your oem powered sliders is just money. Lol
