I am loving the cool weather!

Feeling more power and seeming to get better gas mileage to boot.

Agreed... but, just think how the turbo guys feel. It's like a night and day difference.

Turbo guys won't notice a difference. A turbo is able to build the same boost regardless of pressure/temperature. Superchargers will be building more boost this time of year though.

My turbo'd cars always felt faster when it was cold. Although boost will be the same, the charged air will be better cooled.

Had a 135i for four years and certainly felt the difference in air temps. Especially the N54 which is prone to heat soak and reducing power when things heat up. So, yes, turbo guys WILL notice a difference.

Cooler air = more o2 molecules = more fuel to match = power. Turbos, Na, SC, Lawnmowers.. All will be more powerful.

Okay people, I had a brain fart, lay off. While the boost pressure is constant, the reduced temperature of the charge dictates an increase in density (ideal gas law) meaning more oxygen and power.

It's amazing what a few degrees on the thermometer will do for huge gains on the butt-dyno!

Shouldn't really be getting better mileage I don't think. More power = more fuel....

Always notice the difference in power here in London on a chilly morning. My car always seems to pull so much harder.
