Depends what you mean by "07 M3"

My car is a 12/07 build, so technically there is a US spec M3 that existed in 2007. It's a MY08 car.

And I didn't know E46 ended in 04... There are 2006 E46 M3's...

DCT is nice but really boring

After having the DCT in my 09 M3 I am pretty bored with it. Will definately go for a manual tranny in the next car I buy. It is very capable, fast on the track, easy to drive in stop and go traffic but then so is my ML320....

Ever since I heard that the latest software update nannies the driver into fastening the seatbelt before letting the car out of neutral, I've been wanting the manual transmission. I love the DCT and always wear my seatbelt, but I want to be in control of my car and don't want software mucking things up.

6MT FTW.
