pads & polish
Hey guys,
I own a silverstone ll e90 M3 and I'd like to do a paint correction myself before I get an xpel clear bra for the whole car installed. Id like to try something new thats effective without taking off very much clear coat. My paint has very little swirls and small scratches. id like to see what you guys mix when it comes to pads and polishes. Id like to try something new. Thanks guys |

Menzerna is most popular and what I use.
FG400 for compounding followed by FG 2000 or 2500 followed by FG 4000. I use a red meguiars foam pad for FG 400, orange lake country foam pad for 2000 or 2500 and a black lake country foam pad for FG 4000. If your car isnt that bad you can probably start with FG 2000. Microfiber pads have been my goto for some time now, they are awesome. They don't last more than a few uses, but they can be had in bulk. They cut and save on polish and give a really even finish.
