Regensburg Plant Tour
Has anyone taken the tour recently? Is there much focus on E92 M3 production or is everything hidden because of the transition to and early production support for the new 3- and 4- series platforms?
Just wondering whether it's still worth it as an E92 M3 fan. Thanks

the m3 is built right in line with the F30 and F20 and Z4's. you see them about same frequency as any other time. if you are having an M3 built you can email the factory and arrange to follow only your car while its built. then you can spend all your time with the car you like. i bet if you ask them they probably arrange you to only look at m3's on the line.

The plant guy answering my email couldn't be nicer. He knew I was enthusiast and that it had been my dream to order the M.

Totally worth it, and make sure you stop by the Historische Wurstkuche downtwon, right on the Danube. One of my favorite meals in an amazingly historical building (even better in the Summer on the outdoor tables).
