Piano Black Center Console

I'm looking to match the center console with Piano Black trim. Does anyone know if someone can paint or refinish the stock console for this? I've seen CF mods and you can't order the PB piece for an M3. Any solutions to match?

The problem is that the M3 console is covered in leather. So you should look for any company that can wrap the M3 console with "shiny" CF thus they could also do a Piano Black-like wrap...

Any good paint shop should be able to do that for you.

This is the piece I'm referring to. I believe it's plastic. You're right, other guys have had it refinished with smooth carbon fiber. I just want to match the rest of the PB.

Best bet, buy a Real CF part for it and have it sprayed to match. Unless you can find a shop to replicate the piece in fiberglass, they wont be able to do it. You cant paint leather to a gloss piano black finish... Even though it is leather wrapped around a plastic part, im pretty sure that plastic part is not a good base for what you want. A shiny CF part would be a better start.

That I cant answer, But I do know that piece is wrapped in leather on the stock M3. When I did a CF leather wrap on it I could see and had to trim some of the leather wrap.

I think European Auto Source may sell that piece in CF... see pic below, not sure if they wrapped around OE or a bare plastic piece...

hey guys, BMW Performance now offers the center piece in real CF. And you can certainly purchase it and paint it whatever color you desire!

Doesn't show up when you select coupe. Will all those pieces also fit on e92's?

Shouldn't the dash and center console area be exactly the same between coupe and sedan? I think the only difference should be the door pieces.

If you select 335i Coupe, they have all the carbon pieces available. Isn't the M3's interior identical to the 335 coupe? I would assume so.

Maybe there's a mix up on the BMW website.

front dash pieces should be the same, but center console is definitely different. coupe's is longer.

the difference between regular 3 and M3 is the center console piece. the shifter area is different, as well as the 3 buttons (DSC mode, Power mode, DSC off) on the M3.

Ah that makes sense. Thanks for the clarification.

The center console piece is definitely different between the 3 series and the M3, but regarding the M3, is it the same piece for the coupe and sedan?
