Inspired partially by this thread I bought myself a 5 pound bone in pork shoulder, it's pulled pork time, and some home made BBQ sauce mmmmm Saturday will be delicious.

How did the trout turn out?

Hickory + any pig or cow =

Mesquite + chicken (or other food bird) or most fish =

pork goes well with apple wood also, cherry is nice too. But be sure to rad up on the woods because different doses of wood makes different flavor and can totally kill your food if you use too much and dont prep right

My plans got bumped by one day due to a sick baby, but now back on track.

The pork shoulder just went in the smoker, lunch is gonna be good!
