Advice needed on exhaust systems!

I'd like some advice on exhaust systems for my E92 M3. I've listened to as many sound clips as I could find (trying to get to hear these in person, but no luck so far), and would love some real world experience input. I love the deep growl and burble of V8s and have always felt the M3's exhaust note was rather muted and pitched a bit to high for my liking. For those of you with experience on the following exhaust systems:
Eisenmann race
Mistershaft GT2
Gintani
Akrapovic Evo

Could you rank them by:
1) Deepness and richness of tone, greatest to least
2) Loudness, loudest to quietest
3) Livability as a daily driver, easiest to Tylenol needed

Looking forward to learning from all of your experiences!

If you want deep growl and burble Gintani is the way to go...PERIOD!

I heard all 4 in person. I would rate them like this
gintani- deep but still screams. definitely loud but still has some high pitch to it
Meisterschaft gt2- very deep and loud.
Eisenmann- nice exotic sound to it. not too deep but great sounding.
Akra evo- not deep at all. more of a hollow sound. cold start is awesome though

I would recommend the gt2. It is super deep and has a very nice tone to it.

I disagree. My Akra Evo system is very deep and bassy. It rattles shit in my house when the car is running in my garage! I guess maybe you're comparing it to the other exhausts in which case yes it is more tame..

I haven't had seat time with the evo. from what I have heard it sounds amazing don't get me wrong. Just a little hollow and not deep for me(IMHO). The cold start does rattle the shit out of everything but once it quiets up it can barely be heard and doesn't sound too deep again IMO. here is a vid I took of the evo cold start.

+1 I agree.

GT2 is nice and deep, but it was a bit too loud for me... I've run really loud systems on my car previously, and I really started to grow out of that pretty quick. Out of those I would still prefer the Eisenmann and Akra systems.

I agree the GT2 sounds great, but like you I'm a little concerned about the livability over time with very loud systems. I think the Eisenmann and Akra both seem civilized enough for long term livability with the Eisenmann having the deeper tone.

Would the Gintani fall into the GT2 category for you or the no Tylenol needed group

I've heard the Gintani before several times, but I've never driven IN one that had a Gintani exhaust, so I'm not sure actually. It's been a while since I've heard Gintani in person as well so I just didn't comment on it as I don't want to give bad information from what I remembered a while back.

This was my impression as well, from watching the vids, without hearing them in person. Would you consider any of them to loud for daily driving?

I like loud exhausts so I think all of these are perfect for daily driving lol but for someone that doesn't like it too loud then the gt2 is going to be too loud. Meisterschaft exhausts sound similar just different in volume so you can go with the gt for the best of both worlds.

I just got an Akra Evo, and startup is crazy loud. There is a little droning @ 2k rpm.

Didn't forget about AA at all Think the issue with just hearing vids online and not hearing the systems in person, is that the low end bass I'm looking for only comes across on the very loud systems. One of the more civilized systems likely has the deep tone I'm looking for, but just can't be heard well with online vids. I'm looking for a local meet so I can hear some in person if at all possible.

We just attended a meet with tons of m3's I would agree its the best way to pick an exhaust just beware most of the noise is released when you have the x pipe.

I have an AA rear and never heard it with an aftermarket xpipe. I think I am missing out on some sound textures yet I don't want it too loud. Damn.

I like (if you dont mind my adding) a Megan Racing exhaust. it is a LOT quieter than the ones you listed, but just the right amount of "growl" for me minimal droning, if any at all, and loud enough when WOT.

I have AA, but haven't even installed it yet I have heard Meister GT2 in person and it is very deep and nice, but very loud as well. Gintani was also super loud, but sounded good. Livability on GT2 and Gintani is def lower than Eisenmann or AA or Akra.

On my way home today a guy pulls up honking his horn (and we are still driving). I look over and he points to his ear and then a big thumbs up.
