Lamborghini Spyder Flips

So a while back my buddy asked me to come with him to Gotham Dream Cars (New Jersey) for a half day of driving (his birthday present from his wife - very nice!).
I was able to ride shotgun with him for free so I jumped at the chance.

We were to drive two Lambo Gallardo Syders, one orange, one gray (great cars!).
Lambo LP640 in orange (much better than expected - great sound!).
Merc SLS (horrible suspension - like riding on blocks of wood!).
Ferrari 599GTB (could drive from PA to Cali without a problem - like liquid silk compared to anything else!).
AM DB9 Volante which had 38K miles on it and was a TOTAL piece of CRAP!!! It was falling apart and nothing worked - no air, no defogger, rattling so bad I thought something was going to fall from under the dash and hit my feet (it was pouring rain when we were in this car so yes, defogger and aircon were much needed).

We spent about 15-20 minutes in each car. It was a great time! I would highly recommend it.

Yes, the do let you drive the car as you want to, but the warn you, you will get a ticket and if you're beating the car, you'll be asked to leave. This does NOT inhibit you from enjoying yourself at all.

That being said, I'm sure you can tell where this is going. My buddy and I had JUST gotten out of the grey Lambo Gallardo you see pictured below. It's where the video starts off. We climbed into the 599 and there was a major storm approaching - third pic is from the lookout where you can see the storm coming. The roads were wet prior to us getting into the 599 so we were cautious with the Gallardo.

We were all in a carivan following each other on the road in the video. It was raining really hard and my buddy was reall conscentrating on the road due to lots of standing water. We carried walkie-talkie's in each of the cars and heard someone say they saw the gray Gallardo go off into the woods. They were 4 cars in front of us and they shot off the road so quickly - we missed it! Several passerbyers stopped to help and we were told to go down the road a ways and wait while the two guides went back to see what happened. As you can see from the video - it was pretty bad.

This is the fist I've seen of this and didn't know how bad it was until now. The guides said everyone was okay, but bruised up pretty badly. Not sure how they survived!!! The guide thought there would be two victims, but both were taken to the hopital. Don't anything else.

Gotham Cars shows us a video of cars that were wrecked on their tours and warned everyone not to be "that guy" who crashes in our tour.
The actual car is in the foreground in the first pic too.
I won't say which guy it was exactly, but look for someone wearing a hat in the first pic

Man, that's horrible. Watching them flip it back over at the end was pretty entertaining.

Actually, the guy that was driving, his insurance owns the car now.
When you sign off on the waiver, you need to provide proof of insurance because you are responsible for the cars.

It could have been much worse, that Gallardo actually had 41,000 miles on it so it was probably only worth about $60-70,000!

Really? The guy in the Hurley hat is the asshat who crashed someone else's Lamborghini? I would never have guessed

If that company refused service to anyone wearing Hurley, Ed Hardy, G Star, and/or Affliction gear, they'd probably halve their accident rate.

Thank GOD, cus the insurance Cos depending on ur policy only cover a certain $$$ amount... That would suck if they had minimal coverage..

Yup. You are responsible for the car.

Funny thing is, before you go out, they show you a video of cars that were crashed and tell you "don't be that guy that crashes."

I didn't know you could have more than 1 passenger in a Lambo.....But I've driven in worst rain than that in GA. Complete incompetence at driving.

Oh yea and the tow truck crew, wow. My wife could do a better and quicker job at flipping the car over and loading it up on the bed.

I'm surprised the Aston is the only car you're complaining about. Almost all their cars are in piss-poor, high mileage, shittily maintained condition. The only saving grace is their staff of transporters, particularly Andy and Tony, who've always been knowleageable and friendly. Their office staff is a bunch of 30 something, smug dudes who look like the kind of weiners who only started getting laid once they had lamborghinis to post on their facebook.

From what I've been told by two ex-employees on two separate occasions, they're also unbelievably racist and cruel when there are no customers around. On a personal level, they also fucked over a very good friend of mine on a $5,000.00 security deposit when the BACK WINDOW FELL OUT OF HIS RENTAL LAMBO. A discounted rental in the future? Fuck you, Gotham.
