Hawk DTC 60 compared to Pagid RS19?

Did anyone have direct experience with the DTC 60 vs. RS19? Interested in pad and rotor longevity, bite and fade resistance.

I've been running Pagids for track days in the past 3 years and they've held up very well. But now I have the opportunity to switch to the Hawks, which are substantially cheaper. If I go this route, am I losing anything compared to the Pagids?

Any help is much appreciated...

In for info. Just started on my first set of Pagids but I can also get Hawks much cheaper. Another option might be Stoptech's NEW racing pad. There's info on the ST website. I wonder what the pricing level will be...

Always in for a good brake pad discussion.

Didn't know ST had a new racing pad. I'll check it out. I've run two sets of Pagid RS29s now, and they are expensive. Another consideration might be rotor wear--supposedly the Pagids are relatively easy on rotors. A cheaper pad that wears out rotors faster might not be worth it.

I just replaced my front ST 380mm friction rings after 20k miles and 20+ track days, and I don't think I'd like to do it more often...

Yup, waiting on pricing. I'll give them a try if they are cheaper than PF and Pagid.

That's about what I got on my E46 330 w/ 332mm discs...2 sets of PF01s and about 1/4 of a set of ST pads.

Ran Hawk DTC-60 for a season and got microcracks around the drilled holes on the stock rotors...something I have never seen with the PFC-01 pads I use now. Not used the Pagids, but Hawks are rough on rotors.

I get plenty of heat cracking with PF01s. Stock and BBK. Not so bad since I still get to run the rotor down to min thickness.

Hawks kill rotors. Pagids are the way to go. Expensive but worth it.

Need do decide between Pagid 29 and PFC 01.
Anyone knows how many track days can i expect from them?
I know it depends on the driving style, track layout, tempr., ect, but just want to have an idea.
Next season wil lbe my first time taking my m3 to the track, mainly to WGI.
With my 135i i used Hawk DTC 70/60 and they were great, lasted 4-5 track days front/8 rear. Want to try different pads with m3.
I am guessing pad life will be significantly shorter, since there is about 400 pounds difference between those two. My 135i weight was reduced by 200 pounds.

If how many days is a concern for you, check out PFC08. I think they're easier on the rotors and heat vs 01 plus they last for ever and ever.

I bought my Pagids used with one weekend on them, and put another 10 days on them so far. They may have another 2 days in them, but thats probably it.

Very rotor friendly and long lasting.

Yes, but $$. That's why I was wondering if the DTC60 might be a cheaper alternative...

PFC08's are right around Hawk Prices, Pagids are more.
