M2 is a hell of a car. I'm frankly jealous of it from time to time cause of the cool tech and "new" factor. The V8 noise always will trump it.

I've sure never been crazy enough to lie, that's a threshold that will not get any distinction for the specifics.

However I'm also not saying I've always discussed in advance......

Only time that was an issue was when putting springs/struts/shocks on a '96 Cobra on a weekend wife was out of town. Not that she wouldn't have noticed once done, just because that was a fun time to do it.

That project ran a little longer than anticipated and she rolled in early Sunday to the garage door open and general chaos and mayhem. She asked what I was doing, I replied, she looked at me, and said "Huh, I wouldn't have thought the originals would have been worn out at only 3,000 miles" as she walked inside. We still laugh about that.
