The thread full of pics of worn bearings isn’t enough for these lawyers?

I knew there was a reason I held on to my shitty stock bearings even after nearly 2 since the swap was done.
Some day...BMW will pay me back!

They need names and contact info for witnesses, service records from dealers and independent shops, etc.? An internet thread with pictures but little to no verification is not the ideal evidence in court. It might have been enough to survive a motion to dismiss but is probably not enough to win on summary judgment or at trial.

Perhaps it’s worth some of the Rod bearing service shops advertising on here to send their cases to the lawyer? Likely need client permission to share info but coordinated there might save some time.

I have an idea. I will start a gofund me page and proceeds will go to sending this engine to my garage. I can throw it on engine stand and invite at least 3 more local members to witness disaasembly and inspect bearings and report findings on this forum.
I think that's worth it for like 50$-100 a person. |
