I guess you could at least position it right - could be expecting too much from someone that ignorant

I'm somewhat new to this board. I'll do that. I was thinking this was the same thing... but duh... I was wrong.

That sort of thing is the norm where I come from, almost ever M/Sport BMW has an M badge on it. At least this is a 6cylinder model, most around my way are 318i.:sad0147:

What a moron. I used to live in Dallas and I would see this sort of thing all the time on mid-90's BMW's. They would either put a 325 or 328 badge on a 318, or the driver of a 318 would simply remove their badge altogether. I even once saw some dude rolling in an old Toyota Corona with the BMW Roundel plastered all over it.

Be way cooler if he had an M3 and put 318i badges on it.

Deej....Does your car have extended bamboo leather? I'm probably going to go with Jet Black w/extended Bamboo and wondered if you had extended and how you like it.

Yes it does. I will take some detailed photos of it today for you.

The extended in the bamboo looks brilliant. If you go fox red, dont go the extended cos it looks a bit over the top.

Well, BMW actually sell the M Sport BMW's with M badges on them and throughout the interior decor in Europe. Those people are just driving the car that BMW sold to them in "stock" form.

Here in the US, the M badge only comes on M cars, meaning that people who rebadge regular 3 series as M's are "posing". I've also seen a picture of a red E46 badged as an M3 CSL. This is MAJOR LEAGUE posing as the CSL was only made in black and silver.

Looks like some people have no shame... No need to go to other forums to see who this is. Just look up the word poser in the dictionary. I'm prety sure you'll find thier pic there.

could be worse, on my drive to work, thiere is a guy how has replica ferrari on his driveway. Looks like an old Celica or something with a bodykit to give a ferrari body kit ( if you can even call it that)

On the flip side, my respect to those who debage thier M, I myself will falunt my badge (hey, at least i'm honest)

But an actual M3 badge? I don't think so.

You are right. The M sport cars I've seen in Europe have "M" appearing in many spots, but I've never seen an "M3" badge.
