GP Thunder Issue

Searched everywhere for this but couldn't find the thread. Someone on E90 post or M3 post had an issue with the driver side color not matching to the passenger side color.

I am having this exact same issue. My driver side is much whiter than the passenger side. I definitely think you get what you pay for, but I'm trying to see if there are any solutions for this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I remember reading about this issue. Which vendor did you purchase these from?

(Just curious, not saying it's the vendor's fault)

E92 Lighting.

The bulbs are in the trash right now. $20 bucks well spent.

The GP Thunders work perfectly just as a stock replacement; that's what I have now, and now I have the light color I wanted (withish, rather than yellow). I didn't want the DRLs any brighter, nor to mess with the wiring, so perfect solution, and only $20 . No issues yet; they should last a while with that low voltage.

I just removed my GPthunders 8500k because during daytime the outer ring is not visible in contrast to the stock lights. During daytime the white color is too close to daylight and there is not enough contrast to bring out the outer ring.

for a while I had these bulbs with the camaross "elite" kit, the one that keeps full voltage when you turn the headlights on. It was pretty cool, looked better than most of the aftermarket LED solutions out there.

I am sure it is just a simple defect and can be replaced by contacting the vendor.

Also make sure the bulb is flush with the socket, sometimes people install the bulbs and one of the tabs of the bulb do not clip in causing a none flush fitment and loss of light/color.
