Extended Maintenance Plan
I guess there are few dealers on this forum and I'd like to know whether I can sign for an extended maintenance plan just by fax or do the dealer need to see the car? I'd like to shop around and get some quotes from different dealers but obviously if they need to see my car I'll be limited to few states around me. Thanks for the input.

I think you can do it over the phone or fax (if you're from the 90s ). You need to be within the original factory warranty.
In fact, there was a GB for the BMW extended warranty a couple of years ago on this forum. I'm sure that was done over email and phone.
