Looked up myself. Car looks ok, ugly interior color. For almost same $$$ buy mine with 2 months remaining for CPO and records from day 1. Mine has similar, 62k miles. and coilovers.

Seems the car was first listed at $38,995, then $35,995 now $31,500...makes me wonder what's up and why it hasn't sold. Of course before anyone gets on any plane, they should have a full detailed history of the car which includes ALL service records, a thorough PPI, CARFAX and whatever else you can get on the car. If it were me I'd sure be checking out s85e90's car first...newer car, records from day 1 and CPO. To me I'd much rather be talking to the original (2nd etc.) owner than buying it from a car lot where they might be selling you a bill of goods just to make the sale. Either way good luck! |

I'm from NY and I have travelled to buy several cars. Southern cars are clean as anything as we don't have winters here. Something to think about before buying a car from the tri state area that has been through salt and terrible pot hole ridden roads.

I am just wondering, why winter driven cars something we should stay away from. I am sure the car's suspension is designed to handle bad road conditions and pot holes so why is it bad to buy a car that has been driven in winter.

It's not terrible but salt used on the roads causes everything to corrode under the car. My car, being from the south, looks brand new underneath. One from the northeast will have rust and other issues on the undercarriage.
