January Plant Closure?
I keep hearing this rumor and was wondering if anyone had any info. I ordered my E90 M3 late Dec. and it still does not show that it is in production on the BMW tracking site, just says "on order". Cannot get straight answer from dealer, they just keep saying car will be mid Feb. delivery PDC just as planned. How is that possible if plant is truly closed? I have also tryed to get info on MY2011 E90 dates, avaliability etc. with no luck. When I mention that I may change to 2011 model dealer seems to discourage the idea. Starting to get a little frustrated just want my M3.

Your dealer should be able to advise you which week your car is scheduled for production, once it's on order (or an allocation slot has been applied to your order). They get daily updates. Presumably you have your production order number, so you can track it yourself as well.

I do have production #. I have tryed to track like earlier posted but all that the site shows is that it is on order with the options, paint and color. Dealer says production week was actually last week. If that is true it would make sense for mid Feb. delivery, right?
