Have you ever driven a S2K?

If I were to have a choice between a S2k or a 335i (while having my M3), I'd take the S2k in a heartbeat. They're great on the track stock (now just imagine changing the suspension and putting an aero kit on it)

R35 is actually a good DD

1200 mi per month is still under a 15k mi per year lease so you're not driving a crazy amount

I had 18k mi on my 335i in 15 months, which is 1200 mi. only reason I don't drive the M is cause it's a lease (335i was a buy)
if you take into affect the M miles and the Z4 miles, I'm around 1500 a month.

A R35 IMHO shouldn't be modded.... the warranty on those things is iffy as it is. but to each his own

Probably a CRX... CRV was the minivan looking thing they made. Great bottom block in that car. Made great torque once combined with a VTEC head. Although, i just bored out m stock LS block and put a VTEC head on it.

Guarantee that CRX is probably running an LSVTEC or GSR motor

I know they know more then me. so when we have little scuffles like this, this is how i learn more.

yeah, but what else out there has, nice interior, nice ride, good mpg. i picked my car for many reasons. not only based on performance.

When you spend $ on a car, you shouldn't worry about the upkeep.
Why?
Cause if you can't afford the maintenance you cannot afford the car
(this is true for all, but more so modded, cause the saying goes: "you gotta pay to play")

your 335i is a great DD, it really is.
What I was saying is that you mentioned you like straight line performance, and a BMW isn't built for straight line; that was the point I was trying to make
