Technic, we were just discussing this on the other thread...where does it say it is not available in the USA? The press-release says available worldwide in july 2009. Did I miss something?

available worldwide, if you buy it in germany , there not letting the limited editions get to far.. they will all be acounted for without being shipped around the world..

this is just my opinion, but i figure bmw's thinkin "why bother"

Its not that I don't believe you, I was just curious...no reason to get upset. The press release says that it is available worldwide. I remember what Larry koch said, but there is obviously conflicting information.

I'm not writing bmw customer relations...they ARE AWFUL.

I'm not upset...just confused.

Why would you believe a 'press release' (that is wriiten by the PR dept months in advance), rather than someone who contacted the man in charge of BMW North America directly to verify this information. That's all.

The BMW NA M Brand Manager is saying that the USA will not get the Special Edition M3: http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showp...58&postcount=1
