Buy M3 from SC M Test track?

I'm at Perillo BMW in Chicago and they have a very nice E90 M3 with 9,000 miles. They're selling it for $58,000 and from what I have heard the car came from the BMW M school test track in South Carolina. I assume it was tracked or driven hard so would this pose any future problems? It was painted and refurbished at their factory so it's excellent but what about the motor or the driving that was done to it?

Horrible idea
9,000 track miles
That car has the equivalent of 90k miles of street use on it or more
You can find better deals private party on this forum

You can def get another one with $58,000 on your hand. 9k track miles is horrible, especially it is not only been repainted, also refurbished , means that accident was happened.

No, not refurbished. I meant to say it had chips on front and rear that have been completely fixed.

I wouldn't. I've seen what those cars go through. In fact, I've probably driven the car you are looking at. BMW's are made to handle hard driving as well as any car out there, but still, that's some pretty serious abuse those cars go though at the driving school. Day after day. I can see why someone would do it if it was a real good deal... like 40k. But at 58k, it's not much of reach to just get a new one. I've heard of people buying those and not having any problems, but I wouldn't.

Alright. Thanks guys! I was looking online and I saw Vista motors have a 2010 E90 M3 with 26,000 miles priced at $52,000. Is that a pretty good price? I saw its Carfax and it checks out fine.... If I decide to do business with Vista are they reputable or are they poor?

9000 full time track miles. Dude run and keep running like forest gump. Like mentioned above thats probably equal to a 90-100K car driving on the streets.

The only way I'd buy that car is if Donnie Isley from the M School comes with it as a chauffeur.

Hypocritical that BMW is selling a used track car with a warranty and then denying warranty work on cars because they have been tracked or dragged.
