Ordered a 2011 M3 yesterday

Yesterday I ordered a 2011 M3 Coupe Pack Competition in Mineral White Metallic on Black Novillo Leather (Mineral White Metallic is a new colour for the M3. This colour was previously reserved for F01 7 Series. Colour Code is A96). I have already seen a Mineral White 750Li and I liked this colour. I think I will be happy with that.

I sold my 2006 Z4M to a good friend of me. The reason of the change is mainly because I want more room space.

The M3 will arrive in september.

I am pretty sure that Mineral White is a metallic color.

I heard they crush cars in Switzerland if you're caught doing x amount over the speed limit AND that tickets go up in price if your net worth is substantially high(er). ????

This colour is available since June in Europa. It's not an Individual Color. I will do some pics when the car will be arrived.

@ kaykay: It's true concerning tickets...
But there is few radars on mountain roads. We have to be careful if we see that there are straight line without danger or on autobahn.

The Z4M was very funny to drive on mountains roads. I hope that the ZCP M3 will be too even if it's heavier.

Alpine White, the classic BMW racing color. When all other germans jumped ship to grey, BMW were the only ones sporting this color. Its part of the heritage

i think MW is for those who want the car to look more pretty and so it can match their handback and manolo pumps

I compared AW and Mineral White Metallic side by side at the dealership yesterday. The best way to compare it to think of the difference between jet black and black sapphire metallic. Mineral white has the shiny metal flakes in the paint. I only compared them in direct sunlight and Mineral White looks more off-white (has a slight darker-yellowish tint) to it compared to alpine white. It's really hard to tell the difference from a distance unless the 2 cars are parked next to each other. But I suppose that's the same between BSM and jet black. Mineral white seems slightly shinier as well.

I ended up putting an order for alpine white because I like the color a little better and save $500 for other options. Doesn't hurt that it's BMW's classic racing color. But the difference is subtle and they both look great. Can't go wrong either way.

The plant is shut down for the month of August...you will likely see an early September completion date and delivery to follow within the month depending on destination time. If you have your production number, you should be able to call and get a more accurate estimate of completion.

I called my dealership today and she told me that the car was in production but she didn't precise that the plant was shut down... you kill my evening !
