Very strange...
But I was told several times by my source, that the project managers wanted to build something a little different. I want everyone here to understand what BBS is doing with this new Forged Individual line... This forged wheel was designed and marketed to showcase all the technological advancements that BBS has come up with over the past 30 years. 1) Ultra high-tonnage aluminum forgings with a high strength-to-weight ratio 2) Extensive JWL, VIA, & TUV testing procedures (that far exceed the minimum levels needed to pass) 3) Innovative manufacturing technologies like CNC back milling (patented) 4) Very durable 3-stage lacquer-based powdercoatings The Forged Individual line will be sold through a separate sales channel. It will NOT be sold in the same manner as the CH or LM wheel. (through the standard authorized dealer network for example) These wheels will be an exclusive, high-end line (with a hefty price tag of course!), that are build in small production runs for very limited applications.(BMW, Ferrari, and Porsche only) This new program is not designed to mass-market a new forged wheel design. My impression, is that these wheels will be available by special order only. Again, the goal here is to build the equivalent of an aftermarket "tuner" wheel for select cars. |

You clearly know a bit about wheel manufaturing and manufacturing in general but you are also spouting lots of untrue statements.

+1. Also, I bet the RACs are half of what those BBS will cost.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

8.75 is perfect for the front. 245 or 255 no problem! Now does BBS make a 10-10.5 in the rear to accommodate 285-305 tires?
