Nah, Just need to get new tires before we kill our old ones. LOL
An aggressive drop and spacers will do that to tires. D |

My set up is 9.5 et 22 10.5 et 20, with a -2.5 Front camber, and I'm also dropped (not as much but dropped nonetheless). I don't think your wheels, even with spacers, are much more aggressive than my wheel set up. If it is, than I doubt you can make a full lock turn (since I cannot with a 265/35 tire in the front). I push my tires like crazy and have never corded them like that. That happens with poor alignment as well as improper tire pressure IIRC, you said you never got alignment after suspension install? That's a big issue... You will toast your new tires if you don't align your car. You should align your car after your new tires are installed. Otherwise, using an old tire to align the car, and then installing a new one after alignment will throw the alinement off. Your tires should have similar thread and tire pressures when doing an alignment in order to insure it's done as perfectly as possible. I am positive you will cord your new tires if you don't have your alignment checked. Up to you..just giving some friendly advice. is $60-120 (cost of an alignment) worth cording your tires? and as well as not having a proper suspension set up?

Interesting they would charge more for "custom" since they have to set everything for factory, isn't it the same work to set everything to a custom setting?

custom set up is MUCH more difficult and time consuming. not even close to the same amount of work. factory settings can be quick as they know exactly what numbers to put it in. but if you want them to put it at a specific type of setting, then you need to sit in the car, hold the wheel the way YOU think is straight, and then they will adjust it. make a print out. if you're satisfied then good. my custom alignment took us over an hour. then again I'm very anal...but when I did a stock alignment earlier this year it was quick, 20 minutes? since the car was new and I only did it cause I hit a pot hole. alignment was off by about -.3 camber, so they fixed it back to stock -1.1.
