2009 E93 M3, need opinion on options

Hi guys,

I have originally ordered a base convertible without checking out some of the options in person. (decided to buy an M3 after going to an Ultimate Driving Experience Event, but I am on a strict budget)
- jet black
- fox red
- alum trim

Today I stopped by a local dealership to check out some options.

I am now undecided on following two options:
1. alum trim vs titanium trim
2. 18s vs 19s

So in an aesthetics sense, is titanium trim OK with fox red leather? is grey 18s too blend for jet black?

any input is appreciated

I would highly recommend the carbon fiber "look" leather trim. It is really nice. I get lots of compliments on it.

I have the 18s with spark graph metallic. It took me a while to get used to non-silver looking wheels, but the dark with dark look works well. Having had larger tires on previous cars, I think the 18s are actually better as far as ride quality and durability.

Whatever you decide, I think you will love the M3.

Good luck.

this really is a matter of preference. See if a dealer has that particular trim level and take a look at it in person. Can't tell you how often I've seen some in pictures that looked pretty good, but in person is completely diff

I have Fox red extended in my Space gray coupe w/ the Carbon interior. It is really cool. It is not the shiny plastic looking Carbon Fiber, it is actually leather woven like carbon fiber, and left exposed. Everyone that sees it loves it. It really accents the dash and doors nicely w/ the Fox Red.

As for the wheels, I went w/ the 18's b/c the roads in NJ suck, and i like that my brake dust isn't visible after a 2 mile drive to the store. With a black car i would go w/ the more polished 19" if you want a clean look, the 18" if you want a more "track" look, or ask your dealer about swapping on a set of M6 wheels. I saw a E93 w/ the M6 wheel and it look awesome.

Good Luck!!!
