The right side was VERY tight to the transmission mounts about 1~2 mm clearance

Btw what were the extra screws and short 3~4 inch round pipes for ?

Nice.

I'm interested to really know what the true difference is between HFC's and just the newer X-Pipe? Anybody with thoughts?

And with a tune and a bolt on RPI exhaust versus stock exhaust.

I'm getting antsy for the Fab Speed X-Pipe!

Hey Geoffrey - think you could comment on the changes to the design? Looks like the resonators changed as well as the X. Any change in performance, sound, etc? Thanks!

Sorry I have not posted here in a while guys.....I have been out sick with the swine flu the past week. The resonators that we are using still have the same internal guts as the previous....we just change the overall shape of the outside to streamline it....(same performance and sound though)

As far as the x-pipe design....we started going this route to cut down on production time with less welds and tring to improve the overall look of the piece. Fabspeed always trys to do what we can to improve our product line to keep customers happy!

Fell free to email with any other questions anybody may have

I have a remus sport exhaust and am thinking about doing the fabspeed X Pipe with HFC and resonators, but I REALLY dont want a loud exhaust. The remus sounds good, but how much louder will it get. I heard that the HFC and resonators greatly reduce sound compared to cat less and straight trough pipes?

Please can anyone give some assistance

A HFC and resonated Xpipe will definitely be quiter than a catless and staright pipes. The latter will be insanely loud. That being said if you add the HFC and resonated Xpipe, it will get louder than your Remus Sport now. How it will sound is very exhaust specific. Best way to decide is see if you can hear one in person and take a ride in the car.

Thanks bud. Dont know of any X Pipes here in SA, but will maybe go for one anyway. What do you think will be the quietest of the ones available, Fabspeed or Gintani (X Pipe with resonator and HFC's)

Ordered and paid for a Fabspeed X Pipe and HFC set up. Ships today! All the videos I saw and write ups really helped. I am sure I wont be disappointed!
Jeremy and his team processed and shipped within hours.

The last that I heard, they are trying bung extenders for the O2 Sensors. Unfortunately, everyone that has tried, it did not solve the problem. Maybe there is something different now.

Let us know how it works out as everyone else that has tried it failed, unless this is something different.
