im sure you understand the difference between aftermarket domestics vs euros...the R&D on our cars have been done from countless shops for decades....they dont....Im ERMs buddy with the caddy btw....had an e93 but now have my caddy...his car is nuts....he put a few cars on me from a roll...but back to what i was saying...even now my car is similar to your cobra statement...i only spent 8k in mods and gonna be at 650whp/wtq...another 7k puts me at 8-900whp....american muscle can never be beat in that category...we just have too much R&D on our side....if they had the same im sure things would be different

If he gets his 60 ft. time down, not only will he better his ET he may even get a few more mph at the end of the traps. With a 2.18 60 ft. time to hit that mph..man he was moving. I say 10.80s and 134mph with a good 60 ft. time..trouble is you run to sticky of a tire and you start snapping half shafts maybe...

can you not do burn outs in DCT cars? (hence the need for a line lock) I can easily see that thing going 10s based on 60ft alone. You should def be able to get that down to a 1.9-1.7 for sure. Car really moves!

DCT's are difficult to do a standing still burnout out because once you hit the brakes it activates the clutch. Line lock or DCT software to enable burnout mode (ability to use the brakes) is the only way to get competitive times with big power. Otherwise, your wasting your time.

Way to go man.... I am confident your car has a sub 11sec run in it...
By the way since you had your vbox hooked up and you did manage to reach more than 130mph I am curious about the 60-130mph times in these 1/4 mile runs if possible...

yeah, my vbox directly coincided with my timeslips....my 60-130's were around 7.5-8.0 in the 1/4 mile run - but from experience they tend to run 1-1.5 seconds slower when calculating them during the 1/4 mile for some reason. For example, when I was n/a I would be able to hit 11.9 60-130 going down the strip, but on the street I would be able to hit 9.6-10.0. so i figure my car right now is around 6.5 60-130...I'll have some runs this weekend because I never took the slicks off and will be able to start in 2nd this time around |

I am sure you will be around the 6.5 region when doing a dedicated 60-130mph run... Waiting for your "glory run" man!!!
