We always used water wetter and distilled water as a lubricant and anti-corrosion in our shifter karts but only because anti-freeze was not allowed on the race track.

If you have anti-freeze in your system, in my opinion, there is no need for water wetter.

yes you can. Hyperlube super coolant is the only brand that shows almost the same temp drop, at 50% coolant, as most will show without any coolant. I use it because I don't want to go through the hassle of changing coolant. Works very well on the track, and the engine oil needle sits like 5 degrees lower, and warm up is much slower. Put it this way; without it when you open your hood on a hot summer day after some stop and go, you get that blast of heat in your face. With the product, you get a fifth of the heat. Very healthy for your cooling system components long term.

You can use it -- it's a surfactant that reduces the surface tension of the water/coolant mix to better enable heat transfer.
