Yeah man, Congrats!

Like everyone says, just be careful. I think of it like a firearm, It's a tool that can be very dangerous if you don't use it properly and in a safe area! But the ///M3 is better than a firearm cause it can get you laid!!
j/k, wait till you're married

Ever since i could remember i was always amazed by any thing that had wheels and a motor. So when the time was right, i began to look at cars. The first car i looked at was the Evo. But some how my intrest began to differ form the japanese tuner. Instead my intrest went to the BMW 335. i mean after all it is a great car, and offers all-wheel drive. But again my intrest moved, and finally landed on the M3. --------

So to make a long story short, i asked my parents about it (keep in mind i was 15) and at first they completely rejected my idea of an M3 being my first car. This is the part that will probably make a lot of you mad. But eventually they liked the idea, being that my dad got the car he wanted when he was 16, which was a camaro.

Any way today we were going down to the dealer to look at the car. But my dad told me that we had to make a stop along the way to pick up something one of his wanted to give him. So when we got to the garage he asked if i could help him carry what ever it was that he needed. so when i got out of the car and walked around the corner of the garage.......THERE IT WAS !! I couldnt believe it.. i mean there it was... an E90 M3 in SSII.....!! it was sitting there with a bow on it and a sign saying HAPPY 16th BIRTHDAY. I was just completely overwhelmed.

and for those of you that are saying "this kid is going to kill himself". i want to let you know that im a very calm, not hot headed, responsible kid.

Your comments, tips and criticism are welcome... just go easy on me. im trying to post pictures, but im not sure if they will work.. but ill try.

If theres any errors, or some of this doesnt make sense its because im still in disbelief, and dont feel like sitting down for an hour trying to explain every detail.

i will take more pics tomorrow ... srry for the quality.

The car was used with 6000 miles on it..
First all, I hope you reallize you are now the object of envy for thousands of motorhead.
Secondly, "with great power, comes great responibility", yeah I know it's cheessy, but please don't wrap that beauty around a pool or anything like that.
Third, take you time to get to know her. Feel her out and she'll let you know what she can do.
Fourth, go to M driving school.
Lastly, I hope you reallize how lucky you are and never forget that. Being spoiled is only when you don't appreciate what you got. Enjoy your new toys.
Welcome.

Congrats.
Take a BMW driving school so you can let some speed out of you. That should help with the speeding tickets. Enjoy it man

I'm just sayin' the statistics don't lie. I had a 250-ish HP Mustang when I was that age and I am lucky to have survived it. A 415hp car? That is begging for trouble.

Congrats and be safe. I was a pretty crazy driver until I got caught speeding 111 in 65 in Ohio.

Not trying to jinx you but when everyone first starts driving on the street, you will scrape your bumpers, you will get curb rashs, and, you will get into an accident. But that's how we learn as humans.

Anyway, take care of your car. GL!

Just remember when you accelerate hard into a turn that no amount of DSC or ABS can save you from understeering straight off of the road. That seems like the most common way people crash fast cars.

This just seems like a bad idea to me, like giving someone a Gixxer 750 as their very first motorcycle because they think it's safer than a 1000.

I bet you the insurance payment is more expensive than the car payment.

What options does it have?

hey dude, you can't get mad at me because I'm 17, and while i would have loved an M3 as my first car...it just isn't right. You have nothing to look forward to, and i know i shouldn't be talking cus i also have a bimmer, but mine is a 328, and even though we own a dealership (only reason i have this car), my dad thought even a 335i was out of the question. So, be careful, because thats a whole lot of car if it is given to someone who doesn't know how to handle it. just my .02. but congratulations on the license, i know it was the best day of my life so far, and enjoy that hot rod

This was my first bike. Luckily I didn't kill myself when I crashed it.
