Which cars is this supposed to compete with? I ask because it looks more Miata-like than Corvette-like.

Hard to judge it's looks with all that masking but if it drives well, then it could be near the top of my list when I come to replace my Boxster.

ohh wow I just realized this has the retractable hardtop like the 3's have right now

I'm guessing somewhere close to 4000 lbs!

I hope not but with that folding roof mech & extra safety features who knows!

Would be a nice surprise if it were lighter than the current Z4.
