Usually see him at the Post Office. I'll try and get a pic next time I see him. The car is in my hometown [Jacksonville,FL] which is home to Brumos Mercedes, of Brumos Porsche Racing fame, maybe that has something to do with it.

Are you sure the wheels aren't the grey AMG wheels you'd see on the 65 models, like this? Because if they are, then I saw it when I drove through Jacksonville about a year ago. I did a double take and stared at it while I was at the light until it turned and was out of sight. (EDIT: that last part rhymed )

If you can, do me a favor and see if you can find it parked and take a quick pic through the windshield and record the VIN. It's on the lower edge of the windshield on the driver's side. I can run a VMI and get the paint code.

Or if he's around, tell him you think his car is cool and ask if you could check the paint code just 'cause you're curious about all yellow Mercedes Benzes. The paint code is on the certification label on the driver's door B-pillar near the sill. It has one alpha digit followed by three numerical digits. Just take a pic of the whole plate if the owner is okay with that. Just tell him you're interested in AMG and pre-merger AMG history

Thanks. I'll return the favor somehow.....

I'm pretty sure they're black, but it was probably the same car. Probably aren't more than one yellow E AMG wagon
