I don't think so.... it could be one of thousand people on this forum that are upset at this M4 BS... and more than a few who will opt of a NA (flat 6 or V8) motor over the turbo charged nonsense of enhanced sound thru your speakers... and make the switch to the Audi...

I have test drove an RS5, and it does come close to an M3. But the weight on the front end from the AWD is the difference IMO.

Where it's especially wrong is where it states M3 owners will be envious. I think the RS5 is a great car and love its looks. When I see one, I think wow, that's cool but so glad I have the M3. The RS5 was built chasing the M3 and still has not quite caught up which is particularly sad given the M3s current age. I considered the RS5 before getting my M3 and I knew if I did, it would be the M3 that I was envious of, same as when I had my 987.2 Cayman S.

I was watching this video the other day on how the RS5 does against the M3 and it came pretty close although the video is a bit older they give the slight edge to the RS5 but in most reviews I see about Audis everyone mentions they are not that fun to drive but of course to each its own. Personally I don't like all wheel drive unless its the winter time in Chicago.

any Joe Blow can write a car blog. The guy's argument for the Audi are, it's hand built, it's got AWD, and it's pretty. Given how it was written, I doubt the writer have even driven either cars. It sounds like arguments made by 14 year olds at the playground.
