You got it easy. For some it's not just a trip to the "Po Po station" and a measly $15 fine.. Where I live it's a $50 fine and considered a moving violation.. meaning 7 years of insurance surcharges on top of the $50.. If you have no front plate, you also auto-fail your yearly vehicle inspection and you will have 2 months to fix it or they can revoke your vehicle registration if you refuse.

Wow, and I thought California laws were draconian!

Do you guys know if this bracket will fit with a European plate frame? (I'm only considering putting a Euro plate on for an upcoming shoot, and I like the look of the plate being offset as opposed to centered)

Indeed. Everyone must make their own informed decisions on the risk vs. reward.

I forgot.. on top of all that if you park at a metered space on the street in the city, a meter maid can also give you a ticket for the missing front plate... and they can keep on sticking it to you until you get that plate on. The meter maid tickets are not considered moving violations however but keep it up and you'll be putting a big dent in the salaries of every crooked politician in town..

the length that it came with worked just fine for my bumper

i am assuming that the e92 and e93 bumpers are the same so i think it will work

you can always adjust the length it sticks out with adding or subtracting washers

i am not aware of any coupons for this item, the vendor may have a coupon code if you purchase from their web site, however.

for the E90/E92/E93 M3, you will need the 62mm length kit.
the non-M 3 series uses the shorter 48mm.

Hope that helps... and you don't need a code when shopping with us! we do have specials on them.

Thanks for the update! I received my bracket and hoping to get a chance to install it sometime this week. I'm getting tired of getting pulled over.

i just realized that i can screw this on and off with the license plate mounted to the bracket w/o scratching the surface of my bumper!

i used to think i had to disassemble each piece to take it off, but i dont. i can literally twist the whole thing on and off.

so is that a bad thing for since it is easy to steel? I might be moving to Cali and this bracket seems inevitable
