Still waiting on the wheels but once they are here will have a photo shoot and load them up
are you sure mate?

450 bhp I will be talking to Evolve ,you don't have as many mods as me and without the x pipes I can't believe you have 450 bhp , my car was reading 442.5bhp on Evolves dyno and thats with all my mods although my rear tyres are only 30 series so realistically the car has about 460bhp.

care to comment Evolve ?

Hey fella the the exact figure on the chart is 449.4 bhp and that was with 95 ron fuel

When it had it's first service the guy at BMW said that's a fast one and that was before any mods

DOESN'T SOUND RIGHT TO ME , MY CAR IS AN X PRESS CAR WHICH WAS ALSO SUPPOSED TO BE PUSHING OUT MORE POWER STANDARD.

I'M GETTING AN INDEPENDANT POWER RUN DONE AS GETTING A BIT FED UP WITH ALL THESE READINGS FROM EVOLVE ETC.

Your car is also a lot heavier though and that makes a big difference would like a side by side run with ur lol

Not sure fella I only really did it for the noise, I have had a few really high performance cars and have found sometimes some mods lower the performance, put an exhaust on my 360 and it produced less bhp but sounded the Fu@king bollox's
If you come on the tunnel run we could go for a blap

How did the Service guy get to drive your car hard enough to find out it was running "HOT", I would have given them some shit on that score.

Mikey,

The figures are not important. It's what you gain that's important.

That's all we look at and that's all we care about.

Some cars start higher, some cars start lower. They all gain the same from the same modifications.

These dyno's are pretty consistent but start changing tyre diameter and you can pretty much forget about comparing results from one car to another.

Road speed change = dyno confused!

Therefore, rather than wasting our time trying to standardise everything we can have assumed that our customers are intelligent enough to understand how this simple tool (dyno) works. It's a tool to measure the differences achieved in the rpm range with respect changes made to the state of tune of an engine.

If people want to point fingers then please do it on the gains achieved rather than end figures.

We can post up individual graphs with all correction factors before and after to show 100% consistency in the way the cars have been tested.
Please also remember, that Evolve post up, publically, all aspects of how dyno's work and they should and should not be used.

Agreed, 97 Ron is my minimum, can't always find 98/99 as Sal said in another post somewhere.
I would think 97 Ron is the way to go.
