Help me choose the right wheel and tire fitment!

So I'm having a really tough time making a decision here and thought I'd ask for some opinions. I have an 09 AW E92 M3 (EDC, non-ZCP) that is stock height and 220m wheels with stock 245/35+265/35 tires.

I need new tires and so I thought I'd also modernize a bit with aftermarket wheels with a little bit more of an aggressive offset. But I'm having a really difficult time deciding on sizes. The 265-275/30/19 + 295/30/19 setup has my interest (with 19x9.5/19x10.5 ET22-25), but concerns are:

1. I don't want a negative effect on steering feel and the car feeling "heavy" as others put it.

2. I'm stock height, and while I'd love to get rid of some fender gap, I'm not really convinced on lowering springs yet. There are definitely 2 camps here, but the number of people reporting significant loss in ride quality can't be ignored. My car isn't a DD and I don't have plans to track it, but I want to retain ride comfort (some people describe are describing their springs setups as if they're getting slingshotted out of their seats)

3. I don't want to be in the 50-75% camp that have rear rubbing and have to trim fender liner bits and add negative camber (although I'm told 19x10.5 ET25 w/ 295/30's in PSS/4S are supposed to be safe?)

4. If I do stay at stock height, I don't want it to look dumb with the larger tires and fender gap. I find it a bit difficult to find good examples of stock non-ZCP height with this tire setup on 19x9.5 + 19x10.5. I've never seen them in person, and some pics I've found look good while others look a bit off-putting.

I think 255/35/19 + 275/35/19 seems like a safe choice, but where I'm buying wheels too, the dilemma becomes 19x9/19x10 vs 19x9.5/19x10.5. I know 255/275 would be a good fit for 9" and 10" wheels, but then it's more limiting if I want to experiment with wider tires later.

So this led me to consider 19x9.5+10.5 (again et22 & et25) along with 255/275 tires. I know it would stretch the tires, and I hope it wouldn't be too extreme to where it looks dumb or negatively effects the driving experience without having the best sidewall support. But the wheel size would be versatile to try some other setups. And maybe this doesn't make any sense, but I thought that having a little bit of stretch might help minimize at least the perceived fender gap (where the tire sort of disappears underneath the fender as opposed to a square edge with a more fitting wheel).

So...TLDR I can't decide between 255/35+275/35 and 265/30+295/30 with either 19x9.5/10.5 or 19x9/10 in ~et22-25. I really would prefer to buy the 9.5/10.5 wheels, I just don't want to regret it if I end up staying with 255/275 widths. I'm most interested in PSS/4S, although I would have opted to try the ExtremeContact Sport where there's a 255/35/19 and 285/30/19 sizing available, but it looks like their 285 is .3" shorter than the 255, so I'm probably going to pass on it. If there was a good 265+285 setup, I'd probably go with that as a middle ground, but I don't really seem to see any good option for that..

So, please help me out of this madness, lol

To be honest you will get quite a few answers. I have a 2013 ZCP E92 M3 and I upgraded to VMR V810 wheels in 19X10 and 19X11 both ET25 with 275/30/19 and 295/30/19 Mich PSS. It transformed the car, I can't begin to tell you the amount of grip the front end has. I have never felt a car with such a secure front end, the amount of confidence it inspires at speed is incredible.

Thanks for posting that, your setup looks great. I have to wonder if the extra 10mm height on non-ZCP would be bordering the make or break threshold with the extra fender gap.

The 10mm is noticeable but it is only 10mm.
