UNNATRAL's M3 build is finally done!! - feedback on ESS system
Hey everyone,
I know IND's tradition is to write up an elaborate build story, but I thought i would just keep this one simple. I arrived in Chicago yesterday morning with massive anticipation. I could not wait to get to IND to see what my car would look like. I walked in and there it was. Ilia tossed me the keys and off we went. I was absolutely stunned by the power upgrade. Its been said many times, but seriously, the M3 should have been this fast from factory. the power delivery is just so linear and its readily available. the great thing is that the car behaves like a stock M3 until you weld the peddle to the floor. then you take off like a bat out of hell! the brembos are tremendously strong brakes, the Akrapovic EVO full system has a very deep tone, but one that sends shivers down your spine everytime you hear it. ESS truly deserves their reputation for making the best blower kits for our cars. you can beat the sh*t out of the car, and it wont even flinch. I am pleased with every penny spent on this car and of course IND has yet to disappoint. I had a 10.5 hour drive back home from chicago to Toronto, and I must say that every car that passed me, young or old, would rubberneck until they would be too far away to see me. I love this car more than ever, and now everytime I look at it, I get the same shivers as when I first got my car. I dont think itll ever wear out For those of you wondering about the Blow off Valve... --> it sounds fantastic and very badass. It does not harm the power at all. it is a great add on for those who love to hear the flutter when letting off the throttle and is sure to scare the living daylights out of a would-be challenger. I believe I am the first in North America to put the BOV on an ESS system. I will most liekly put on my BBS CH-R's in a week. I will take some photos myself and post them asap. not one person who has seen the car since i got back has had anything bad to say. Everyone's jaw has dropped. I would like to thank the boys @ IND for yet another great project car and ESS, for making arguably the best supercharging kit out there!! if you would like to see some of the few pics I have of my car/parts, check this thread out. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...=484898&page=4 Flip through all the pages in the thread..there are 3-4 pics. Congrats.
What does a BOV do in a supercharged car? What's the advantage?

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
