I have completed the car and posted pictures. I painted over the headlights and taillights sections which will not allow the LED's to show through the body
The stickers were difficult for me to put on. I got the hang of it after the first several stickers but its a little late. A lot of them do not align very well and some have ripped during my attempt to remove and adjust the location. Overall it looks nice. But now I have learned a thing or two about putting the stickers on. I ordered a Porsche 911 body and cannot wait to use my new knowledge and tricks to make that one even nicer!! Hope you all enjoyed and for those building currently, feel free to shoot me a PM if you are stuck or need help. |

I just looked at the pics. Don't be too hard on yourself; I think it looks pretty good.
Thanks for posting as you went and sharing your mistakes. That's going to help the rest of us. The decal thing reminds me of my experince with that as a kid. I finally got good at it but every now and then some model I was working on had decals that went all to hell for what appeared to be no good reason. |

the windshield decal was the first one i put on. after trying to reposition it a couple times i ripped it. that is when things really fell apart. i started not to care since there were air bubbles in the decal and a nice rip.
i am going to get another m3 body once i can find one and redo it.. maybe paint it black or dakar yellow this time pay close attention to the decals! do not rush that part! |

im not sure what the point of the washer is. i screwed it by accident without using the washers and its tight as hello. the only weird thing is there is a little bit of a gap on one side of the flat plastic piece. but that washer wouldn't fix ( i doubt it anyway). the washer makes it look out of place for some reason. surprised we have to use that.

Hi, Attached photos of my version of the Tamiya BMW M3 2009. I only used
some decals from the body set kit and used the Rahal Letterman ALMS livery. Hope you enjoy. Regards Norman2 |
