▀▄ eas - Performance Competition Steering Wheel
The design and function of the BMW Performance Steering Wheel captures the feel and spirit of the racetrack. We took it one step further and re-invented the wheel with our new Performance Competition Wheel.
Based on Formula One instrumentation, the Performance Steering Wheel displays critical data from the powertrain and chassis and positions it where your eyes focus naturally. Intuitive controls and an icon-based interface provide seamless access to a G-meter, a stopwatch with lap timing functions, a quarter-mile timer, an engine temp readout, and adjustable shift lights. The wheels feature high-quality Nappa leather construction with "trigger" grips molded into the 9-o'clock and 2-o'clock positions for a thicker, aggressive grip, while paying close attention to comfort. The flat bottom portion of the wheel offers additional leg clearance and an aggressive look to your BMW. Your current Upper Multifunction Steering Wheel (MFSW) Controls, round airbag and lower steering wheel trim transfer to your new wheel making a quick and easy swap in about an 30 minutes. LCD Screen Features: - Stopwatch - Race computer with lap times, section times and 400 m / ¼ mile race functions - Display of lateral and longitudinal acceleration - Temperature display Diesel engine: water temperature Petrol engine: Oil and water temperature - Gear shift indicator Steering wheel features: - Thicker "Trigger Grips" placed at the 10 and 2 o'clock positions - Premium Perforated Nappa Leather construction - Flat bottom construction for additional leg room - Black stitching - Trigger buttons repositioned for easier access - Uses brand new OE BMW Performance Wheel to ensure perfect LCD operation Here is your chance to own something truly exclusive. Can you quote me a price shipped to 96797 without the CF insert? Also, is this a DIY? 30 Mins seems way to short for installing a PSW because of the electronics.

Amen. It may sound trivial, but I would never lose my colored M stitching.

Should have kept the M color stitching. Is it possible to have the OEM face with the M logo? I'm not a fan of the CF.

I read somewhere that BMW will be coming out with a new DCT Performance steering wheel, but I don't remember there being an ETA on when they'll be available. So keep in contact with us and we'll let you know when they're going to be in.
If you want to keep the lower steering wheel trim stock, you can, that's fine. We just put the CF there for kicks. As for the stitching, the performance wheel never came with Tri-Colored stitching. |
