I sent the seller a question through ebay messaging the other day about the CarFax.
No response. BTW, You can add comments to his photobucket pictures anonymously. http://s762.photobucket.com/albums/x...9%20M3%20ebay/

Not necessarily....it could have been a theft recovered after the insurance paid the owner.

I would LOVE to hear the sellers spin on the TL. Please report back after confrontation.

Oh wow, I was just looking at that m3 on ebay and keeping an eye on it, was even considering to see if i could get financing to get it if no one else gets it in the future, so glad I found this post. That's real shady of the seller to be selling that car and not mentioning it. Maybe didn't know when he bought it? but everyone seems to be telling him about it now, and I also sent him a message on ebay.

The crap is starting to rise to the surface.
Seller has relisted on ebay and barely mentions/hints the damage now. Ebay Auction "This car was in an accident, I was told the front bumper and passenger fender were professionally replaced by Bmw oem parts, I purchased this car already repaired, it's my weekend car so I only put about 1500 miles on it and I have never had a single problem with it, the car does not rattle or make any noise and the dash has no service light on." Hmm....I don't think that bumper & fender replacement would constitute a total loss with a Insurance Company No mention of any factory warranty so it's safe to assume that there is no warranty with BMW anymore as well.

he responded to me stating that it was not a total loss, no accidents, perfect condition etc. no one will ever know the real story behind it.
It has NO factory warranty. Run the VIN with BMW. |
