How to tell if car has bluetooth phone option?
I'm looking for a 2010/2011 M3 with Nav. I'm ok with not having the Combox, but I want to have the bluetooth phone option so I can use the hands-free option with my iPhone. How can I tell if the car has this?

Theres a thread on here somewhere that refers to a russian site that you can enter the last 6 of the vin and it will tell you what the exact options are on the vehicle.

Only visual method I'm aware of is looking at the window sticker since all the stuff is integrated. I'm not sure if it can be retro'd. Seems like BMW is making it more difficult to retro stuff these days. You might want to check with someone at EAS or one of the other forum sponsors and see what they say.

Can't you just go into the idrive settings menu and try and pair a phone?
