Also, I think there may be another charging port. Its set up for multiple modes of charging. 220, 110, and I think some super fast charge type deal that isn't good for the battery.

Ya that is pretty fucking stupid to put it there. Also people who like to pat themselves on the back for getting an electric car fail to remember where the Electricity is coming from that they are putting in their little elitest cars.Hmmm...mostly from coal burning power plants that also consume massive amount of oil and fuel, or nuclear power which they are all against. So they are all hypocrites.
All of these cars are totally impracticle, and those that buy them are not thinking about the huge increase in power comsumption they will be using at home to charge them. Study's have shown that the average increase in power use at home to charge them will be around 60%. So for those of you that live in LA county that deal with LADWP you will be paying around 600-1000 a month in electricity bills. Awesome! Good choice. This stuff can not be forced upon us until it is economically practical to do so. All the infrastructure needs to be put in place and power companies need to be able to deliver power much cheaper and also be using a clean renewable energy source to produce that power or it will be for nothing. Think if the government decided that in every state that 20% of all cars sold had to be all electric. Then think about how much extra demand it would put on the power grid. It would massive and unstainable unless they figure that part out first. I only say this because this is the direction that the wacko environmentalists want to go. they have no ability to see the bigger picture. They just react emotionally, and they are generally emotionally unstable people from every interaction I have had with them myself. They come across this way on TV programs as well. This is a great thing to work towards for sure, but it can not be forced down our throat, by the government forcing crazy regulations on states for emissions, and finding ways to drive oil prices up by devaluing the dollar which is one of the main economic reasons for price increases on everything. The more money they pump into the system the less it is worth. Simple economics. So OPEC wants more per barrel. They blame the oil prices on the middle east and how we are dependant onthem. What they fail to mention is that our main source of oil comes from Canada. Freakin Canada!, I knew they were behind it all Dont let them fool you with their polite ways.lol Everyone needs to wake the fuck up. P.S. I do not think we have anything to do with climate change. It is a natural process cause by sun activity. The entire solar system is heating and cooling all of the time.
