Can we get a longer 7th gear?

So let me pose this question... Would there be any fault codes or would it disrupt any function if I had a longer 7th gear(s) cut and had it fit to my transmission?

What, causing a dash light? I don't think it's too far fetched to speculate that it could cause some kind of disruption. I don't think the car will allow for 7th gear at 20 mph. I know it's slightly different, but it's still relative to engine rpm and speed.

no sorry not yours, the original can we get a longer 7th gear. yes everyone can buy a corvette and go 70mph at 1200 rpms. 6th seems too tall already to me because it puts you out of the powerband a little too much. but that was 6mt.
