New M3 Owner -- SW Michigan

Just traded my 997.1 TT (tip) for an '11 M3 DCT. Love this transmission, engine, car.

Any other M3 owners in SW Michigan?

What good is torque when a tiptronic transmission shifts you at 3200 RPM, every time....

997tt was an amazing car (and a beauty) but I have absolutely no regrets. M3 is more relaxing to drive and the DCT 'makes' the car for me. Absolutely love the M3.

I had a car that was much faster and had a lot more power. sold it for the M3.

I agree, sometimes you just need something different. also found the M3 to have a great mix of sporty feel while still being very relaxing. people here lust over faster car, but they dont understand that some times that comes at a cost.
